Mark your calendar: Scripted Fragrance is coming to the Country Living Fair in Rhinebeck this October! We're so happy Country Living's Editor-in-Chief, Rachel Hardage Barrett, came across our candles at one of our beloved retailers while vacationing and reached out! You'll find us at the Dutchess County Fairgrounds October 2-4, 2026, with our 100% soy candles ready to make your home feel like fall in the Hudson Valley. Get your tickets here, and let's celebrate the season together!
Picture 200+ antique dealers, artisans, and small makers, all set up together in that Hudson Valley harvest-season feeling: crisp air, changing leaves, apple orchards close by. It's the perfect fall getaway from NYC, White Plains, or anywhere in the tri-state area.

Handmade, Story-First Candles From the Hudson Valley
Scripted Fragrance is a mother-daughter company, Elizabeth and Amberlee, hand-pouring every candle with our small team at our historic 1842 Manor House in Warwick. Founded in 2015, we've spent over a decade perfecting candle making, and we're proud to be named to Oprah's O-List of American-Made Products.
At Scripted Fragrance, every candle tells a story, and every glass has a second chapter. Once the candle's finished, it becomes a real, food-grade drinking glass you'll reach for again, ready for your favorite beverage. Today, we offer 160+ unique candles along with endless opportunities for custom work.
Want a head start before you visit? Read about how we make our candles, why we only use 100% soy wax, or what "non-toxic" actually means on a candle label.

What We're Bringing to Rhinebeck
We'll have a beautiful assortment of Reusable Rocks Glass candles and tins for you to experience all the scents of the season in person, from crisp apple orchards and spiced cider to our full holiday lineup, along with an assortment of our best-selling pet collection and a few limited edition candles just for those visiting the fair.
Make a qualifying purchase while you're there and we'll have an amazing gift waiting for you, our way of saying thank you for making the trip out to see us.

Speakers, Music & Workshops at the Country Living Fair
The fair has announced its full main stage speaker lineup, and it's a roster worth planning your weekend around. Details here are current as of publishing, but for the latest updates and any new announcements, be sure to check the official Country Living Fair page directly.
There's also a brand-new addition this year: a music stage called Folk at the Fair, put together with The Bluegrass Situation, running Americana, Celtic, bluegrass, and country acts all weekend, no extra ticket required, including the Grammy-nominated duo The Secret Sisters. Our Warwick Studio Will Be Closed That Week
Our Warwick studio will be closed the week of the fair, including Applefest weekend, while our small team is on-site in Rhinebeck. It's the first time we've missed Applefest, and we hope our regulars and locals will come find us at the fair on Friday and Saturday.
If you can't make it to the fair, our full collection is always available online and at our Warwick studio, open Thursday and Friday from 12:00 PM to 5:30 PM, and Saturday from 12:00 PM to 4:00 PM. While you're there, come by for one of our hands-on candle-making classes, a fun way to hand-pour your own custom candle right in our studio. Just remember, we'll have some special candles and gifts just for this show!
